Teach kids, ages 10-17, how to surf three days a week for four hours a day (summer job). I help teach group lessons pf two to six kids. I also teach private lessons which are one on one. My position consists of teaching beginners how to pop up, where to position themselves on the board and I push them into small waves.

Responsibilities include receiving and inputting orders into Retail Pro, developing relationships with sales reps, reviewing prebooks and modifying orders, opening and closing the shop, and balancing cash receipts in the registers.

Provide knowledge of surfboards, fins, wetsuits, and other surfing accessories. Work the register and help customers find items in the shop. Folding clothes, restocking shelves, cleaning up surfboards, and talking to customers are the main aspects of this job.

Teach kids ages 4-15 how to ride horses. Work five days a week for four hours each day (during the summer). I teach lessons, helped out with the camp, and helped kids learn about horseback riding. I muck stalls, groom horses, exercise horses, teach private and group lessons, take kids on trail rides, and educate students about horses and safety at the ranch.

Supervised and facilitated ocean and beach safety activities for 30-40 campers, five days a week for eight hours each day. Encouraged kids to complete the workouts, organized fun beach games, and educated campers on ocean safety.
