Little Trouble is looking for a talented Kids Apparel Designer with a particularly strong background in graphic design and illustration.This job will help develop original apparel, graphics, prints, patterns, and product concepts for future Little Trouble collections. We&rsquo;re looking for someone who can understand an established brand aesthetic and build on it - not simply follow trends.The ideal candidate has a strong fashion foundation but is equally comfortable illustrating an original graphic, developing an all-over print, laying out a garment, and preparing artwork for production.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design original kids apparel across multiple categories.</li><li>Create original:<ul><li>Graphics</li><li>Illustrations</li><li>Typography</li><li>All-over prints</li><li>Repeating patterns</li><li>Patches</li><li>Embroidery concepts</li><li>Labels and garment details</li></ul></li><li>Develop seasonal product and collection concepts.</li><li>Translate creative direction into finished apparel designs.</li><li>Create colorways and explore color, fabrication, trims, and garment details.</li><li>Develop mood boards and visual direction for upcoming collections.</li><li>Create production-ready artwork for screen printing, embroidery, patches, woven labels, appliqu&eacute;s, and other garment applications.</li><li>Build clear design files and specifications for overseas factories and production partners.</li><li>Review samples and provide clear design revisions when needed.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the founder and internal team on product direction.</li><li>Maintain the Little Trouble point of view while continuously developing fresh ideas.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Professional experience in apparel design, preferably kidswear, streetwear, lifestyle, action sports, or graphic-driven fashion.</li><li>Exceptional graphic design and illustration skills.</li><li>Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.</li><li>Ability to create original artwork rather than relying primarily on stock graphics or existing assets.</li><li>Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, print, and apparel graphics.</li><li>Understanding of garment construction, fabrication, trims, and production.</li><li>Experience preparing production-ready files.</li><li>Ability to interpret a brand aesthetic and design cohesively within it.</li><li>Strong awareness of fashion and culture without simply copying current trends.</li><li>Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely.</li><li>Portfolio required.</li></ul>
